Your Role: Keeping the Power On
As our Emergency Power Technician, you’ll be the expert responsible for keeping critical power systems running smoothly. Your day-to-day work will involve :

Operating and maintaining a wide range of electrical generating systems, from small 2KW units to massive 1.7 MW generators.

Working with diesel, gas, and LP engines, as well as electrical control boards, transfer switches, and other essential components.

Operating and maintaining load banks to ensure our systems are always ready.
This is a hands-on role that requires a sharp mind and a commitment to excellence.
What You Bring to the Table
To be considered for this crucial role, you’ll need to show us you have the right qualifications and a can-do attitude.
Essential Qualifications:

Certification: You must have one of the following:
-
A diploma from an Electrical Power Generation Technician program.

An Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) or Electrical Generating Journeyperson Certification.

A certified generator technician program from a major manufacturer.

Hands-On Experience: You need practical experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical generating systems, including engines and control boards.
Key Competencies:
We’re looking for someone who demonstrates integrity, thinks critically, works well with others, and shows initiative. Strong communication skills are also a must.
