Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Training Pilot, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our pilots are qualified, skilled, and safe. This is a premier opportunity among helicopter flight instructor jobs Canada. Your key duties will include :

Conducting initial and recurrent helicopter flight training for pilots.

Delivering instruction in both aircraft and flight simulators on normal and emergency procedures.

Developing and updating ground school materials, lesson plans, and other training resources.

Conducting Pilot Proficiency Checks (PPC) and instrument flight checks.

Acting as Pilot in Command during operational, maintenance, and ferry flights.

Identifying and recommending changes to improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Essential Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following Transport Canada pilot requirements :

A valid Canadian Commercial Pilot License – Helicopter Category with a Group IV Instrument Rating.

A minimum of 3,000 hours of experience as a helicopter pilot, with at least 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command.

At least 500 hours of experience on multi-engine helicopters.

Significant IFR experience, including at least 100 hours in actual instrument conditions.

Proven experience as a training pilot and in developing and delivering classroom training.

In-depth knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations for VFR and IFR helicopter operations.
